You’re never too young to become a leader! By now, you’ve probably joined several clubs, sports teams, and organizations. That’s great! Now is a good time to get involved and start building your leadership skills. Colleges and universities are looking for more than breadth of activities—they want to see depth in activities, too.

Here are our top 4 tips to become a good leader:

1. Have faith in yourself.

2. If you see a problem, don’t wait for someone else to fix it!

3. Remember you don’t have to do everything alone! It’s okay to help others and let others help you.

4. Learn to delegate tasks!

Your time in high school can help prepare you for leadership opportunities in college. Leadership means leading by example and living out the type of life you hope to see in others. What kind of leader are you?
